Rhonda received her Bachelor of Nursing from Loma Linda University. After graduation she gained experience in a wide variety of settings: intensive care, home health, and an Ecuadorian jungle clinic. Yes, she speaks some Spanish.

She expanded her training and completed the Family Nurse Practitioner and Master’s Degree Program in Nursing at Sonoma State University. This provided her advanced skills to diagnose and treat acute and chronic problems as well as promote health maintenance. She performed well child and senior screening exams in public health for five years. She has worked in family medicine for over twenty-five years and is certified as a nurse specialist in all areas of family practice and diabetic education and management. She stays current in advanced technology, including glucose sensors and insulin pumps.

Rhonda enjoys caring for people and enjoys all aspects of family practice. Her patients are treated as a whole person, with kindness and compassion, and they assist in the decision making process. She tries to individualize care based on a patient’s symptoms and restore balance. Wellness and healthy lifestyle are consistently encouraged, and she partners with patients to achieve these goals. The outdoors where the sun shines is her favorite spot. Along with her husband, she enjoys serving God wherever she is planted, working in the yard, going for hikes, snowshoeing, and traveling. She has two grown children, two cats, and a dog.
