Megan Jeffords was born and raised in the deep southern state of Georgia. She graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelors in Nutrition and Food Science. She then completed a dietetic internship and became a Registered Dietitian. She worked at an outpatient clinic in the VA hospital, where she enjoyed counseling and educating Veterans on diet and healthy lifestyles. She especially enjoying teaching classes and working with the Gastroenterology department.
Megan then graduated from the Augusta University Physician Assistant program and joined South Tabor Family Physicians in 2017, where she enjoys treating people holistically. She likes to make sure her patients are healthy physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Her special interest is in Gastroenterology and the digestive system.
Megan enjoys exploring Portland’s coffee and food culture, meeting new people, hiking, ballroom and swing dancing, and getting involved in her local church.
